I just heard some very good news from a close friend of mine that NYX cosmetics will be available in malls soon. No I am not just talking about resellers bringing it here. I mean there will be a physical store by NYX in the Metro.
My friend got the information from this blog saying that the first store will open at the Annex of SM North Edsa. According to the blog, it would be “at the upper ground floor and would open in June.”
When I read it, I just wanted to rush to the mall and check out if it really is true. I am a true sucker for NYX products, especially their lip products. I am just so excited! I will investigate and check this out myself.
If any of you have information about this, please please let me know. I would really really really appreciate it!
This morning as I was going through my lipstick collection, I thought to myself how long it was since I even worn something in the shade of peach. So I grabbed one of my old favorites, Motives lipstick in Coral light and used it for the day. But I didn’t feel like I was done so I put some NYX lipgloss in Nude Pink on top of it.
Here are the lip products that I used. They are great especially with Summer is already here. Plus in style-standards, we’re welcoming the Spring collection.
Just last week, I received my pre-order NYX goodies from Digital Traincase. I was so to try all of them, but I know I can’t possibly use ALL of them at one time, so I decided to take a product or two at a time. On Monday, I chose the NYX Butter Gloss in Merengue as the first lip product of my 30-Day Lip Diary.
Today, I decided to test out more of my NYX purchase, specifically the powder blush in Pinched and the Makeup Setting Spray in Dewy Finish. I actually liked the blush but I haven’t decided on what I feel about the setting spray.
What is it? Basically just 30 whole days of experimenting and documenting on the lip product I’m wearing.
Why? Well, because it is fun and it’s the easiest way to update your look. Plus, it’s a good way to maximize my lipstick/lip gloss collection. My lipstick collection grew from October,2012 seen in my previous post:
I can’t help it! I love NYX products! They really are value-for-your-money products. And best of all, they are super affordable. It’s really great that there are online stores like Digital Traincase that make them available here in the Philippines.
This is actually my first Pre-order purchase. This means I ordered the products and paid for them in advance. And yes, I had to wait for them to be delivered. Why I chose to have them pre-ordered? Well, the shades that I like are always sold-out. So this time, I told myself to be patient and just go ahead and pre-order them. And here they are…
So, I got the new products: NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee and Merengue and NYX Makeup Setting Spray in Dewy Finish. Then, I got the almost-always sold-out products: Matte Lipstick in Audrey and Butter and Powder Blush in Pinched and Red.
I just can’t wait to try them all! As soon I try them on, I’d let you know what I think.

I’m really glad that we Filipinos are getting the hang of online shopping. It’s good that we have trusted sellers nowadays; and with the help of social networking sites like Facebook and Multiply, online shopping became easier and more fun.
I’m not a novice when it comes to online shopping but I’m not a frequent buyer as well. I had my first online shopping experience with a very trusted seller and college batch mate, Ana Gonzales of Anagon Collection. I adore her accessories especially her one-of-a-kind wire art designs.
My other fave is Digital Traincase. This online store has been around for a while. They offer NYX products as well as a large collection of nail polishes from different brands. I usually buy from them in bazaars, just for the single reason that I want to test out the products first. But recently I tried ordering online through their Multiply site. It was so hassle-free.
